Collection comprises papers of American author Thomas Thompson, including manuscripts of 11 novels in various stages; 116 teleplays, most of them in original form, revised, and as shooting scripts, particularly for Bonanza and Wagon train; 29 published editions of 12 books; and a diary, 1938-1960. Correspondence with agent Brandt & Brandt for 1952-1959 includes about 1,500 letters, both sent and received. Collection also includes correspondence with other agents, publishers and professional associations. Major personal correspondents include Thomas W. Blackburn, Frank Bohham, Robert O. Case, Armand Deutsch, Norman A. Fox, William H. Frazier, Frank Gruber, Bill Gulick, John Hawkins, Lew Holmes, Day Keene, Ellis Lucia, James C.
